Hopefully you made it out to the Triad last night. I sure had a good time! Such a good time that I was inspired/motivated to give the website a new look :) If you didn't get to see the show (including the premier of a new song or two), you have another chance on April 5th at The Bitter End.

Clarissa appeared on VH1 in the segment right before the #1 video. She was also recently on "Positively Texas", a show on the CBS affiliate in Dallas, TX. Keeping busy in Texas, she was interviewed on a local radio station, B97.9, where "My Little Car" got its first radio airplay!

Clarissa's show at The Bitter End was taped by VH1. They even did a little interview with her. Hopefully they will air all or part of the show and interview on "Rock Across America". The most likely dates for this are Tuesday Sept. 7 or Tuesday Sept. 14 at 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

There are a few NYC dates coming up. If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by for one. I was able to catch her performance at The Dark Star Lounge Friday night and it was well worth making the trip. Keep an eye on the appearances section for new dates.

Clarissa has been keeping busy and getting involved with The Susan G. Komen Foundation and Race For The Cure®. She sang this past weekend at a Survivor Tea in Cleveland and will be in Cleveland again on September 26 to sing at Race For The Cure®. The Honorary Chairman for this event will be my favorite weather man Al Roker. This weekend she'll be in Dallas for a Race event with all of the affiliates that run the race around the country. More dates will be put up as soon as they are available.

Clarissa is very honored and excited to be singing at "Race For The Cure"® to benefit breast cancer research. Over 20,000 women will be racing at the event to be held in Dallas, Texas on October 17, 1998. Clarissa will be performing "We Will Always Survive" from the Friends For Life CD. Also performing will be Amy Grant.

Album Update

Clarissa's first album is well underway! Great time and care is being taken to make sure that it turns out just right. It will definately be worth the wait when it gets released in the spring of 1999.
